MSI enjoys a state of the art research & development, engineering, and spacecraft production space compliant with ISO 9001 standards and designed specifically for processing small spacecraft and spacecraft subsystems.

MSI’s facility includes:

• A Class 100,000 environmentally-controlled clean room supporting a very flexible and efficient I&T Phase
• Manufacturing facility with lay-up areas, structural, acceptance and proof test facilities, a 1000 sq. ft. machine shop and a full-time machinist
• Facility designed specifically for processing small spacecraft and spacecraft subsystems
• A test control/mission ops room contains test conductor work stations and engineering work stations for spacecraft engineering and experiment teams.
• A dedicated receiving inspection area, an inventory control crib for flight hardware storage, and an automated Inventory Management System
• Top-Secret level Facility clearance and computer processing and document storage to Secret level
• Facility has been designed to process three spacecraft simultaneously, eliminating potential schedule conflicts
